The valley in which the camp is located is home to a pride of 23 lions, several resident leopards, a wide variety of plains game (including large herds of elephant and giraffe), and thousands of wildebeest and zebra during the annual migration. The open savannah found on either side of the valley also provides frequent cheetah sightings.
